Thanksgiving Braidout

I'm feeling myself today!!! I had a perfect braidout today!!! Woot Woot!!!

What a difference a little color makes.

Its funny how you don't see the changes about yourself.  I guess because I see myself every year...I don't notice the subtle changes.  The picture on the left I took at the end of September and the picture on the right I took in November.  My hair has grown and also with the color I look totally different.  I am enjoying my flat two strand braid out..its starting to grow on my and be one of my favorite styles.

Sips and Strokes

 

When I saw this picture out on the Sipnstrokes website...I said to myself I have got to paint that picture. I want to put this picture in my bedroom.  My first experience there was great so I just knew this time was going to be even better.  A friend of mine and I went and after halfway through I was thinking I should have chosen something less difficult.  Check out the results below:

 

My picture is on the right and his is on the left...I think mine looks more like the photo, but his is pretty interesting too.  LOL!! Of course I think mine is better!!!

Two-Strand Braid out...

I decided to re-visit the two strand braid.  It seems to get better and better each time I do it. 

The braids don't look great at all but I like the outcome.

My color looks great :-)

Finished looked...I love my hair and the product I used did not weigh it down.

Taste of Atlanta



The Taste of Atlanta is finally here!!!  I was so excited!!! I have been to the Taste of Chicago so I figured that this would be something almost like it without the stars performing.  And it was everything I thought it would be.  I plan to go again next year...but this time I will purchase the VIP tickets...

Self Development

 

My books came in the mail today...I am so excited. I have always felt like I was working on me, but realized I was only working on my spiritual side....I needed to work on my mind as well.  Being in this business has helped me to see that I need to change my thinking if I am to succeed.  This month we are reading Think and Grow Rich.  I will post my thoughts soon.

Girls Night - Sips n Strokes

Over the weekend I help to celebrate a good friend of mines birthday.  She had a birthday party at Sips n strokes. This is a place where you Sip while you paint. Your painting is supposed to look better after you have had enough to drink...or so I have been told...lol. I had never been and was very excited to go.  I had a great time and I am ready to go back again. Jamaica - Day 3, 4, 5

I was thinking about what I wanted to write about the rest of the week and remembered what happens in Jamaica STAYS in Jamaica...lol.  I wont give you a play by play but I will highlight some of the fun things that we did...lol

so his name tag said President...soooo we thought he was the president of the resort!!! Ha that was his last name!!! lol

Jamaica Day Two

Day two was a day packed with a lot of fun and excitement.  The day started off great!!! Some of the workers asked us did we want to taste fresh coconut....sure why not.  That stuff tasted nasty...lol  I think I might have tasted better if it was cold...

We went Negril and Ricks Café.  I read a lot of reviews and the reviewers mentioned Ricks Café as the best spot to visit.  Honestly I didn't like Rick's Café.  Or maybe I should say it wasn't all that the reviews made it out to be.  I guess it would be a spot to like if you wanna eat and watch people jump off the clip. Sounds exciting right....NOT!!! lol  It was okay but after about an hour I was done...lol
