Product Sales Conference fun!!! Day Two

Its been two years since I have been to the Product Sales Conference.  I was so excited to be there.  To be able to reconnect with some old friends and meet some new ones.  It was very interesting at first because a lot of the old friends are gone...so it was a very humbling experience since I still have my job...so I am very grateful....So on day one...I got to visit the vendor booths and roast marshmallows and eat cupcakes...I am so happy...I know you can tell by the smiles on my face..:-)

This was in the afternoon...so later that night there was a meet and greet party...it was cool...

Product Sale Conference..>Day One

Today was a day of just relaxing...the conference will start bright and early in the morning and i just want to enjoy my surrounding....so beautiful...

Time for school

Its time for me to start back to school.  This class I am taking this five weeks is English.  It has gotten off to a great start.  I had to read the book "Their eyes were watching God".  OMG this book is soooooo good.  Its funny when I ask people have they read it and they are not no but I watched the movie with Hallie Berry....lol  Its funny because I remember watching the movie but I guess I didn't pay attention to what it was called.  I think it was an Oprah movie or something like that...I'm not sure.  But anyway...I really like the story.  Parts of the story made me mad when the men in Janie's(main character or Hallies character for those of you who have only seen the movie..lol) life would mistreat her because they were intimated by her looks.  So worried she was going to leave them for someone else that to break her spirits they would put their hands on her.  I am so glad my teacher recommended this book to read.

My natural hair is.......

I saw this shirt on line and I just have to have it. The shirt says "My Natural Hair is Everything"  and in fact it is.  I love my hair.  I feel that i am learning it all over again after the whole straightening nightmare.  I am revisiting old products that didn't work before but now they work on my new hair.  Right now I am fighting with the twist out.  Every time I try to twist my hair, when i untwist it I don't like it and it makes me wanna cry.  But I have to tell myself to "man up" (in my GG voice)!!!  That was my favorite style and now I cant do it anymore right now and it makes me sad...but i must keep going.  This is how I am having to wear it until it grows longer

Shower anyone???

Okay so I have been searching for almost two months to find the perfect shower curtain for my bathroom.  Something that is me...when you see it you would be like yes that is you.  Well I finally found the one I wanted and I am so excited!!! You cant really see the picture clearly but I feel in love with it as soon as I saw it.  I found it on Amazon.com.  I love tulips!!!  I cant wait to take a shower!!! lol

So now I am on the search for my accessories that will go with my shower curtain.  I am thinking about putting red rugs and towels and then black vase with white tulips if i can find them.  Let the hunt begin... :-)

Taking a day...

Today I decided to take me a day.  A day from working, a day from going to meetings, a day from having my whole day planned...at first I thought this was going to be hard.  See I am so used to having every day planned from the time I get up to the time I go to be I am busy doing something.  Somewhere along the way I realized that I spend too much time doing something, that I needed to just take a break to just chill.  

I wanted to start my projects around the house.  The first project was to organize my garage.  I think I did a pretty good job with what was in there .....take a look.

I am getting my alarm system installed today. I am so excited.  I didn't realize how paranoid I could be until I moved into the house. I realized also I watch too many movies....lol 

So I got the alarm set up and I feel more secure...Of course I cant show you the front panel or I would have to cut ya!!! lol.
