Grill
Yeahhhhh me. I bought a grill on Friday. I am so excited it didn't take me long to make my purchase. Right now its sitting in my garage because it needs to be put together. :-(...Now this is the time I wish I was married so my husband could be worried about how this grill is going to be put together and not me. Of course I am not going to flex my muscles to work on the grill...I am going to enlist the help of my friends or a family member because...if I do it, it would be just my luck it would fall down right when I start to grill...lol I will post pictures soon.

Trying something new
So I decided to try something new. I got my hair braided. I want to give my hands a break...lol. Don't get me wrong I love being natural, I just need to give my hair and myself a break. I have decided to just keep braids for a couple of months...so each month I will try a different style. The good thing my hair will grow a little bit more.
Day 15 Squat Challenge
Ooohhhhh LORD!!!!!! lol...I don't think I knew what I was signing up for. My legs hurt so bad. :-( . I keep reminding myself no pain no gain. I am glad that I am working on this with a group of cool ladies, they keep me accountable. Now on the weekends.....that's another story. I try to do them...but I take breaks in between. lol. I am starting to see some tone in my thighs...I promise I will post pictures real soon. :-)

Best Mothers Day Gift!
This was the best Mothers Day gift I could get. My daughter Brittani, graduated from Troy University today. I am so proud of her.
I am so happy my family was able to come and support her. I love them!!!

Squat Challenge - Day 1
Today was the first day of the 30 day squat challenge. My thought...so far so good. I think when I got to squat 40 I started feeling the pain. But I know if I want to see some results I need to put in the work. I gained all 15lbs back that I lost but funny enough I am still in a size 10. I don't know, maybe I was in a size 10 all along and just didn't realize it. Today was the first day and I didn't have anything bad to say about this challenge...I will keep you posted on my journey to 250 squats.
