So I saw many of my Facebook and Twitter friends were watching Love and Hip Hop and talking about how sweet the marriage proposal was with Chrissy and Jim and then there were the not so nice comments...People were going off about how long they have been together and he had not asked her to marry him...so of course I had to check the show out...I couldn't just watch that episode I had to watch the show from the start...so I spent the day watching season 1 and then season to get the background of the situation.
Chrissy was with Jim 6 years before she asked him to marry HER ( that blew me out of the water)...I am very old fashion and I think the man should court the woman and HE should ask her to marry him. I know that we are in the new era and women are taking thing into the own hands...but there are somethings that I think the man should still do...now there are in year 7 and they still are not married. The situation is interesting...they have no kids to tie them together and they live together...they are functioning like a married couple......they just have the love i guess....
I think that is why we have to keep everything in decent and in order. We have to do things the way God ordained us to do them..and yes it can be hard especially if you have down things your way for a long time....but once again...we want different results...so the way we have always done things has to be in the past and we try a new path.....
